A helpful friend brought up in conversation today that she had a friend with RA who claimed that he was lactose intolerant during his flare ups only. He didn’t seem to have a problem when he wasn’t flaring.

Just wanted to know if this is a ‘thing’ with anyone. Sure miss the taste of dairy products but love that I feel so much better overall (off dairy for 8 months now.)

I’m very new to all this, not even sure if I have RA waiting to see the rheumatologist because my levels are elevated. However....I can no longer eat dairy. Very small thinks that might have baked dairy I may tolerate. Anything else I have IBS attacks soon after eating. I miss cheese but it’s not worth the pain. Interesting if there is a connection
