I just took off my nail polish and noticed I have something weird going on with my nails. The nail bed is white about a third of the way down. I wondered if anyone else had anything like this maybe from their medication. I take methotrexate and just started cimzia injections.

My nails hurt mostly the thumbs I have once in my middle finger after awhile a forrow will start like a line from the top of the nail and them starts separating from the skin. I have taken all kind of fungus medicine prescribed by by my family doctor I have taken pills, medicated nail polish, creams to no avail. I am seeing a dermatologist he tough it was fungus too but after many months of medications nothing help. He finally send specimen of my nail and it wasn't fungus. He said is inflammation from my RA. I also have sczema in my hand scaly and some time I get lines that crack and hurts.

I have Raynaud's Syndrome and I don't have that. But I bet it is medication related.
