I am glad you did not have to experience that reaction.
When I was taking Planquenil my Rheumatologist made sure my eyes were checked every 6 months and included field test, which checks your
Peripheral vision. This is more common, that your eyesight can be effected in this way of losing partial sight. Again, a small percentage, but you can't be to careful when it comes to your eyes.

Steven's Johnson can be a reaction to any medication and needs to be diagnosed and treated immediately.

Thanks for the input. Yes my rheumatalogist suggested to take an eye exam before taking planquenil so that I have a baseline of my vision. Retinal damage is from plaquenil use is one of the side effects long term use.

Thanks for your reply. The reason why I'm asking about Stevens Johnsons syndrome is because I've heard people on planquenil acquired this disease. Knock on wood I hope and pray NOT to get this because I just started taking planquenil this is my 2nd wk now. I'm just curious I know it's very rare cases.
