Yes Darla, I used it for about 9 months. Actually I had the shots not infusion. It did help the pain and fatigue for the most part but it gave me funky soars, granulomas in my mouth, other sours in my mouth. Other side effects too. That's me though. I pray this works for you.

Yes, a few people in the community have shared their experience with Tyenne infusions. Most say it’s similar to other biologic infusions and generally well tolerated, though some felt mild fatigue or headache after the first dose. It may take a few weeks to notice improvement. Always keep your doctor updated on how you feel after each session.

I know one of my friends on here has used them, and she didn't have any issues with taking them.

Tyenne is a biosimilar version of tocilizumab (Actemra), which works by blocking inflammatory proteins called cytokines from activating immune cells — helping to reduce inflammation in RA.

Starting a new infusion treatment can feel daunting, but here's what to generally expect:

- Infusions are done in a clinic or doctor's office
- Each session typically takes around an hour
- Effects may be noticeable within 4 to 8 weeks
- It can be used alone or alongside other DMARDs

A few tips to make the experience more comfortable:
- Stay well hydrated beforehand
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing
- Bring something to keep you occupied (book, headphones, etc.) As with any biologic, there are some side effects to be aware of, including an increased risk of infections like upper respiratory or urinary tract infections. Infusion reactions can also occur, especially after the first session. Symptoms to watch for include:

- Itching or hives
- Swelling
- Chills or fever
- Difficulty breathing
- Changes in blood pressure

Most reactions are mild and manageable, but always let the clinical staff know immediately if anything feels off during the infusion. Wishing a smooth first session next week! 💪
