Has anyone had intestinal problems while taking Tyenne as an infusion?

I have been receiving monthly, low dosage Tyenne infusions for about six months now and have not experienced any such digestive issues. I hope your difficulties and pain go away though, Darla.

I did have some digestive issues but I done think it was the Teyenne. My problem was all of the skin and mouth sores. Have you gone off of dairy to see if that helps. I have IBS so it's hard sometimes to tell if it's the meds or the IBS.

- Stomach discomfort
- In rare cases, stomach perforations (holes in the stomach wall)

The stomach perforation risk is uncommon but worth discussing with a rheumatologist, especially if there are any existing gut concerns. It's also worth knowing that RA itself can contribute to gut issues, separate from the medication. The inflammation associated with RA can affect the digestive system too.

If intestinal problems are being experienced during Tyenne infusions, it's really important to flag this with a rheumatologist as soon as possible. They can help determine whether it's the medication, RA-related, or something else — and adjust the treatment plan if needed. Don't tough it out in silence! 🙂
