I developed a lesion on my chin. At first I thought it was a pimple but it’s definitely not, kind of fleshy. Healing but taking forever.

On 5 mg of Prednisone and Methotrexate. Has anyone else here developed strange lesions while on these drugs. Trying to figure out if Prednisone is the culprit or it’s something else.

Diffinantly contact your Rheumatologist.
Take a picture and submit it to them, if you cannot get an appointment right away.
Meanwhile you might apply Arnicare to speed up healing.

Hi Diane, prednisone is tricky. Lots of possible side effects. I ended up with avascular necrosis, dead hip bone. Resulting in total hip replacement surgery.
