Adding on another medication for a different health factor but my question is do I consider the purchase of an extra large AM/PM medication holder or does a large 3x a day medication holder provide okay space for extra dosages? I'm new trying to figure this one out as I've got a few health factors going on so rather than getting rid of medication they are being added on. Greatly appreciate any assistance with feedback on this one as I'm a bit lost trying to figure out what's the best way to go… read more
I keep the night meds in a drawer in my bedroom and my morning meds in a cabinet in my kitchen and my supplements. The one I take at lunch and dinner is on my dinning room table where I eat. Of course if I have company they get put away and hope I remember to take them, that's why they get left on the table.
To many dang pills!.
Hey, that's pretty high tech stuff up there, Esther. I'd get confused just trying to organize the pill organizer.🤔
But bravo for you and your diligence. 😊
Wow! I'm impressed. You get the gold medal for this one. I don't think anyone can beat that for organization.
@A myRAteam Member I've had moments like that where I had so many medications I began to feel like the local pharmacy *smh* So I found a larger medical basket that is plastic, has two levels with a locking lid on it. Believe I was browsing on Amazon one afternoon for something else then came across this item as an option. I've actually found this item holds all pill bottles as a blessing plus the few times I have needed to be somewhere for longer than a week I have been able to take the entire medical pill holder with me. I'll share the link so you can check it out - https://a.co/d/iZo98pm
Looking back on the item, it's called a first aid kit but this has also been used as a medicine storage organizer. I managed to put majority of my daily medications on bottom but then the rest of my smaller bottles on top in the green sections as they fit very nicely. I was also able to fit what I use frequently for medical needs like band-aids and alcohol swabs since I am constantly injecting medication weekly and monthly. I also have an extra sterile eye drop bottle and other little things like a great unopened lip balm that I do wear daily. I also have two of the green sections filled with cough drops so I can keep them nearby me so I don't have to keep walking into the bathroom each time I need one. The nice thing about this container is it fits neatly underneath my end table so it's out of sight but within arm's reach anytime I need it.
I fully understand having a lot of medication, drives me crazy which is why I did what I did with this particular product so it would help me manage storage better. Hope the above information helps.
There isn't a pill organizer large enough to hold all the meds I take to manage multiple conditions. I keep them in original containers, all in a basket. Basket comes out morning and night. The basket is about the size of a men's shoe box. Supplements, prescribed by my PCP, also in there.
My PCP and I review all my meds once a year to see if I can possibly drop one or two, but all are vital to keep me truckin' along.
