Your post comes at a good time for me. I was diagnosed with RA a couple of years ago. I tried the anti-inflammation diet for 3 months & it didn't help much. 2 days ago, I met a person who has had RA for decades. At some point, his immune system was so compromised that he ended up having surgeries and could no longer tolerate traditional treatment for RA. So he went on the carnivore diet and he is almost pain free. I'm thinking about trying it.

Thank you for that interesting information Robert. Fascinating to hear that a neurologist suggested that diet to you.

Thank you Rondeena. I wonder how you will get on. It's been a real eye opener for me. Seen you have tried a lot is there something that you can recommend?

I don't have an answer because I've never heard of it. But thanks for the question, I am always looking for ways to help with my RA! I will have to research this. I'll post my results if I try this. I'm a human guinea pig for RA research and testing lol! I'll try anything until I beat it or it beats me!

Hi!
I’m on a high protein, predominantly red meats, eggs and dairy diet as prescribed by my neurologist for adult epilepsy. From reading posts from our fellow RA patients I feel as though my pain level is below most. I’m not sure if it’s because of the diet or that I was diagnosed with RA later in life. I’m also a medical cannabis patient (again, epilepsy) so I’m certain that helps mitigate some pain I might otherwise have.
Good luck! You’ll figure out the best course for you to take. This site is helpful, informative and fun. It can be very useful.
