Wondering if you take Omega-3 daily.
* Who told you to take it?
* How much do you take daily?
* And lastly, What BRAND do you like?
Thanks for all of your answers. Much appreciated. 🙌🏻

Members shared diverse experiences with omega-3 supplementation in response to questions about daily use, dosage, and preferred brands, with many taking it on the recommendation of cardiologists, rheumatologists, nutritionists, or eye doctors who cited benefits for inflammation, heart health, and joint lubrication. Several members emphasized the importance of choosing quality brands like Nordic Naturals, Mega Red, and Ocean Blue, with dosages ranging from 630 mg to 2000 mg daily, while others noted taking omega-3 only (avoiding omega-6 and omega-9 to reduce inflammation) and combining it with supplements like turmeric, folic acid, and vitamin D. A recurring theme was the need to consult doctors before starting supplements due to potential interactions with medications like statins, the overwhelming number of pills many members already take, and the importance of getting omega-3 naturally through diet when possible.

The brand is "Ocean Blue" and I ordered it online from them directly, as it is really hard to find just omega 3, 700 mg +Vit D, 2000 IU.
Most all Omegas have 3,6 &9 and with RA, you only want to take the 3. The 6 & 9 can cause more inflammation. I also take Turmeric/Curcumin, 500 mg and 400 mg of magnesium. I avoid processed foods, refined sugar, wheat, Diary. It is a plant based diet, but it has made a massive difference in the pain swelling.😊
