Do any of you experience extreme weakness? I battle fatigue but I’ve had a few episodes of weakness that I’m curious if it’s from RA. I had to stop brushing my teeth because I couldn’t hold my arm up any longer. My legs have felt like the communication from my brain isn’t clear.

Recently had same issue and my rheumatologist diagnosed polymyalgia rheumatica AND giant cell arteritis. Check with your Dr soon. The arteritis is serious. Good luck.

I definitely have felt this way– exhausted from essentially doing nothing. Hang in there in my experience this feeling comes and goes.

I just went though a flare that inflamed everything, but to me the worse part was the fatigue. A shower, walking down stairs, bending over, lifting a cup were practically insurmountable. After resting (fighting it, though I knew it was the only way) for days...I am finally feeling more energy and less all over illness. Hang in there and do the resting!

Horrible fatigue can do that. You just need to rest, and rest till you feel better and watch life go by and chaos climing up and up.
