I find it unbelievable that I have had blood tests that said I have Rheumatoid arthritis. Than I was told I didn't. Than I did and was treated for 3 years by a Rheumatologist. I changed my Rheumatologist and she said I don't have Rheumatoid arthritis. I do have Sojrens but it doesn't show on my blood tests. I find the blood test results very difficult to understand. Has anyone else had such an experience? Patricia Deeb

I live in FL. and getting in to see a Rheumatologist is almost impossible. I have a Dr, but I am not on any medication. I am just so confused about autoimmune diseases. I feel like I am kind of on my own and that doesn't make me feel comfortable. I survived IAN, and dealing with my insurance company has been pure hell. I have a severe sinus infection, and have had blood work that is all off. I am seeing a Hematologist and hopefully can get to the bottom of this. I don't care what I have I just want to have answers. In my case, I do have osteoarthritis in my hands and I can live with this. If It sounds like I am complaining, I apologize. I feel so bad for the people who have to live in pain. I only wish I felt more confident with my Dr. I feel in some cases, people on this site can be a lot more helpful. Thanks for letting me vent and God bless.

I’m being treated for RA but not sure that I really have RA. How are they treating your sojgrens? It’s still an autoimmune. I’d love hearing from you. Thanks.

Hi Pat,

I had low positives for a very long time. ANA was considered a low positive for years. RA factor always negative. An Arthritis clinic decided to do an Anti-CCP lab, this was always positive. Sed rate was always a low positive. I have been to 4 Rheumatologists. The field of Rheumatology seems to be overwhelmed with patients. I have read other stories on this forum and many of the members share this type of journey with Rheumatologists.

My first doctor said there was no way I had RA but did more blood work. Most tests were in the low range but the anti-CCP was very high. I have a new rheumatologist now and they are trying to help but so far there hasn't been much improvement even with all of the meds.
