The bottom of my feet were also hurting. I put my feet on ice pad for 10 mins and rolled my feet on a ice frozen bottle.for 10 - 15 mins. My feet are doing much better. Still gonna keep my appt with the podiatrist.💕

I have neuropathy in my feet. Most recently, they are burning. It's hard to sleep. I use gabapentin but I think it makes it worse, so I stopped it. I could increase it, my Dr gave me the ok, but....I'm already on several meds. Do I want to add another 12 pills a day? No, I do not. Good luck. Let us know what's helped you.

I have the same thing and they are sure it's neuropathy, I am not diabetic but do have nerve damage, gabapentin stops it! Talk to your rheumy!

I totally agree with you. I was able to see my primary doctor, then a Neurologist, he ordered an EMG(testing the nerves), in the area affected. Then, went back for results, and finally talked with my Pain Management Dr. to get meds that will help with the symptoms. I'm able to get answers and settle some of the pain.

My med gabapentin controls all of it very well, as for carpal tunnel releases, I have had 3 done, both hands and one wrist, it was amazing how fast everything comes back! But I need to tell you how bad it got! It started with complete numbness in my hands, loss of grip and strength, had to use light weight coffee cups and only half way fill them or I would drop them! Then the numbness traveled up my arms and into my neck just before operations! My Neuro Dr said later that he was afraid that I wouldn't get the use of my hands back! I did but my fingertips remains numb.So don't put the operations off because you could damage the nerves enough to lose control of your hands!
