I've bought sandals and slippers from Orthofeet.com They advertise on facebook all the time. I found that the mens sandals seem to have much more thick bottoms so my feet are much more comfortable in the mens sandals than the womens sandals and I have both. Just pick a size smaller in the mens than womens, for instance I wear a size 9 in womens shoes so I buy the mens in a size 8 and they fit perfect. I don't bother with shoes at all because it's too hard to put socks on so the closed toe sandals are perfect and even warm enough in our Texas winters when I have to venture out to grocery shop or whatever.

I too have lots of issues with my feet including the toes. There's a good newsletter and site to go to called Barking Dogs, written by a woman with RA. The shoes I find most comfortable right now are Keen. They have a very large toe box and good overalll support. I have flat feet and overpronation so I sometimes need to add additional arch support but I just buy an insert. I swear I have more shoes than DSW.. A good sandal/flip flop are Vionics. They have their own website or you can buy them on Amazon etc. The Vionics are expensive (I think the flip flops have come down in price) but worth every penny. To summarize: I have rigid big toes, no arches, ankles are turned down, hammer toes that are so bad I'm getting calluses between my toes and toe nails, RA caused bunions that cause the 1st 2 toes to overlap. I can walk all day in the Vionic flip flops with no pain. Good luck and moisturize your feet daily.

Poor u, it's a nightmare. It's crap isn't it. I look at all my lovely heels that I always wore, going to give them away. Know nothing is going to change now. Not worn any shoes for past 4years, just Sketchers trainers

My toes are starting to overlap. I have had multiple fractures in both of my feet. I have severe cramping in both feet as well as burning sensation.Numbness in my toes ( feels like a string is tied around my toes cutting off the circulation ) I cant walk ery far as the pain becomes unbearable.
I have 50 pairs of shoes in my closet. Most of which I just admire their beauty.
Out of all those shoes, I spend most of my time in flip flops or slip on shoes that are one size bigger than I normally wear. Or my slippers. That's pretty much it. I can't stand anything tight or binding on my feet.
I have Orthodics, Special shoes that cost hundreds of dollars, toe separators. You name it, Ive probably tried it!
I haven't found any thing else that I can wear.
