Been on Embrel for 3 months along with methotrexate. Had lab work done last week, inflammation and white blood count all elevated. So far it seems to make my joint pain worse. Doctor said to give it another month because he's seen improvement after 4 months...anyone else have had this happen? And was there any improvements..

I was Super when I started Enbrel . Than 6 months I totally fell apart . I am still using this and it’s been about a year since my flare started . I can positively say that the pain is so much more manageable than before and hardly there . It seems RA is totally still a mystery after having this for 31 years . Keep positive and keep moving . Hugs to all

Thanks for the input, that gives me hope. I tolerate Embrel with no bad side effects. So I'm hopeful it will work its magic on me☺

Sometimes it takes a while to get the RA under control. I think it took 3-4 months for it to work for me. I couldn't walk & my right foot had become deformed. That was 4 years ago. Today, i'm doing great. I can walk without a walker. I'm doing great. I call Enbrel my magic potion.Hopefully, it can work it's magic on you. Hang in there.
