Enbrel

Does anyone here use the CVS Specialty pharmacy? My insurance will only cover my enbrel if I use the specialty pharmacy they recommend! My issue with that is my enbrel was shipped over night it was suppose to be here today, but because they had a snow storm a few counties away my package was delayed! Do you think it will be OK until monday? I know it should be kept cold will the ice packing in the shipping box last long enough for it to get here? Enbrel is shipped with ice packs and in a foam container. It will stay cold for a while.

Get in touch with the mail order pharmacy. They always told me to call if it wasn't delivered on the day they told you it would be there.

Good news I got my enbrel box late last night an the ice packs were all still frozen an the enbrel was cold. It made it right on time for my injection today.

I've been on Enbrel for years and get it from the same place, they pack very well. .If the ice packs are still cold it will be ok. Good luck with it and hope it works as well for you as it has for me.
