Members shared their experiences with gluten-free and anti-inflammatory diets for managing rheumatoid arthritis, with many reporting that avoiding gluten, processed foods, and certain trigger foods helped reduce flares and improve their overall sense of control, even while taking medications. Several members offered practical meal ideas and resources, including Dr. Weil's anti-inflammatory food pyramid, Pinterest boards for clean eating and gluten-free recipes, meal prep strategies like baked egg muffins and spiralized vegetable noodles, and switching to nut milks and whole foods. A recurring theme was that every body is unique and what works for one person may not work for another, so members encouraged trying dietary changes thoughtfully and tracking what makes a personal difference, while acknowledging that strict diets require planning and commitment but can be worth the effort.

I too get a lot of recipes from Pinterest and have an anti-inflammatory diet board on there. Sometimes I have to alter the recipes a bit to cut out things or substitute things within the recipe. I feel a lot better eating totally healthy and fresh stuff. Dr. Weil anti-inflammatory diet is something I really adhere to. http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/PAG00361/anti-infla... His website has a lot of good info regarding RA.

Hmmm...quite possible that the diet has nothing to do with it...but in general...all of this is better for your body in so many ways. I think, our bodies are all so unique...that something might work for one person and maybe not for another. So...if you are at a loss...try something new. xoxo
