Internal shaking, often described as an internal tremor or a buzzing sensation like a phone vibrating inside your chest, limbs, or core. I noticed that I've been experiencing this the last few months. It makes me want to jump out of my body.
I have these too but thought it was some kind of nerve problem. Thank you for sharing
I experience this too. It isn’t painful, just annoying. Melissa, not to add to your health issues, but have you been checked for MS? Or, like Carol asked, have you had EMG nerve conduction studies done? I hope you find answers. It seems like RA affects so many parts of the body, more than the doctors realize or admit.
I too have that sensation. Sometimes when my pain is extreme I do physically shake as well. 🤷♀️
Yes, for about 9 years. I called it internal vibrations. Felt like I was shaking/vibrating, but only on the inside. Was on Gabapentin when it started - didn't make the connection. Started on Clonazepam a few years ago and the vibrations increased. I have tapered off these medications and the vibrations have all but disappeared - only once in a while do I feel a mild sensation. I'll still take the meds when I can't sleep, but I'm pretty sure they were the cause of these unsettling sensations. Hope you find the cause and a cure - best of luck to you! @A myRAteam Member - early morning while waking up seemed to be the worst time for me as well.
Melissa, have you had nerve conduction tests on your feet and legs?
