Members responded to a question about hand tremors and shakes in rheumatoid arthritis with mixed experiences, some reporting tremors alongside other symptoms like numbness, tingling, muscle twitches, weakness, and spasms that worsened when medication wore off or when tired. Several members shared practical observations, including one noting tremors appeared in the final week of their infusion cycle, another suggesting stress and high carbs as triggers, and some finding relief with pain medication like Tramadol, though one member was told by their rheumatologist that tremors are not an RA symptom. A recurring theme was uncertainty about whether tremors are directly related to RA or a separate concern, with members encouraging each other to keep asking questions and advocating for answers as research continues to evolve.

I do believe there is a connection with tremors. Since I am on a monthly infusion That has a half life of two weeks, the last week I the medicine is used up. I have noticed a variety of symptoms that reappear . That's how I know they are related. Welts ,skin irritations, swelling, blurred vision, smell sensitivity, cramps, and tremors. There has to be a nerve component to RA. Your chances of getting shingles is higher and that is inflamed nerves. Also researchers believe that Parkinson's may be a RA illness. A lot has just come out and most Rheumatologist are working from past knowledge. Keep asking.
stress and high carbs can cause issues. Sometimes pain Mede can help. Try Tramydol.

I sometimes get them when I'm tired but I don't think it's related to my RA
