Sue, I always feel better when I'm staying hydrated. I'm not great at drinking a lot of water. I do have an app that reminds me to drink water.
It helps a lot. Good luck with everything, including meeting your new dermatologist! ❤️🙏

How can tracking daily hydration help with rheumatoid arthritis management?

It's great that you're taking proactive steps to manage your health by tracking your hydration! Using a smartphone app to log your daily water intake is a smart organizational tool that can help you stay on top of your wellness routine.

Keeping detailed records of your habits, like hydration tracking, gives you valuable information to share with your specialists during clinic visits. This type of self-monitoring is an example of creating space for RA in your life through simple organizational techniques.

As you're learning to take the right steps for your health, remember that small, sustainable actions repeated daily can help form lasting healthy habits. Tracking your hydration fits perfectly into this approach—it's a simple daily action that you can consistently repeat.

Since you're working with both your RA specialist and now a dermatologist for your hand symptoms, having this log will help your care team see the full picture of your self-care efforts. This kind of active coping strategy—getting organized and making a plan for managing your health—can improve your overall well-being as you adjust to life with RA.
