So are you saying you have no worsening effects. You are not noticing getting worse. Sorry it’s hard for me to put it into words. I know somebody that I play pickle ball with that is just on the methotrexate and the folic acid. I’ve been on the Enbrel because my doctor says that’s the first line of defense, and if you can afford a continue.

I don’t know if RA is affecting my body in spite of Enbrel and methotrexate usage. What I do know is that I’m not constantly in terrible pain that was almost unbearable to live with. There is no cure for RA. All we can do is try to minimize the damage. Enbrel has been working for me and I’m thankful for that. 🙂

Good morning ☀️ I was only taking mtx for the first year. Thinning hair so I started taking biotin. Then I started having a lot of pain. My RA dr recommended enbrel. Added a once weekly injection of enbrel and started feeling much better.

i have also been on methotrexate and folic acid, then if i need to quell any pain that may be a flare up or just part of the RA .i will take a painkiller.
