Anyone with Sjogrens have chronic under jaw pain like in the area of submandibular salivary glands? I can’t find anything to get rid of the pain. It goes from just under my ear to about mid jawline. Both sides but one side is more painful than the other.

I have the same thing. I cannot determine what causes the pain initially. Once it starts, I am in misery with no method to end it. Sometimes a heating pad helps to relieve it somewhat. Good luck...

I don’t have the dry mouth associated with Sjogren’s. I do have dry eyes but if anything I feel like I’m hyper salivating a lot.

Pain in the salivary gland area is a common symptom of secondary Sjögren's syndrome, which can occur alongside rheumatoid arthritis. The pain you're describing in the area from under your ear to mid-jawline matches the location of the salivary glands, which are often affected by this condition. It's important to have this evaluated by your healthcare provider, as they may need to adjust your treatment plan. They might recommend specific medications to increase saliva production, which could help relieve the discomfort. Make sure to inform all your healthcare providers about both your RA and Sjögren's diagnoses to ensure appropriate treatment. A myRAteam member shared that they were diagnosed with secondary Sjögren's syndrome after having RA for many years, so you're not alone in experiencing these symptoms. Regular monitoring and proper treatment can help manage these symptoms and improve your quality of life.
