When taking hydroxychloroquine and leflunomide together, it's important to be aware of potential medication interactions. One key consideration is that leflunomide can affect how other medications work in your body. If you're not feeling well on your current combination, this is definitely something to discuss with your rheumatologist. If you experience any new or different side effects after changing your medication regimen, be sure to let your doctor know right away. Sometimes changes in medication combinations can require dosage adjustments to find the right balance for managing your RA symptoms effectively. Your rheumatologist can evaluate your current symptoms and make appropriate adjustments to help you feel better.
