Haven’t been on in awhile as things have been going well until I had minor surgery on my nose (I have HHT) it’s genetic with no cure. Since Monday I started flaring . Right Knee and now moved into my right jaw. Flares always seem to find the most vulnerable spot and since I had a tube in my throat and it was a bit sore it decided to wreak havoc. So much pain.

Before I was on meds for ra, yes my jaw would kinda lock sometimes and I would have to move my jaw around occasionally. I don’t remember having pain there though.
I've had (TMJ) jaw flares. This last time they gave me Meloxicam for inflammation. That was the Instacare. They also told me to go to Walmart and get a molding mouth guard. It helped. But definitely take to a doc if it gets too bad.
It sounds like you are having a really rough time. Flares are no fun. My jaw has been affected by flares on multiple occasions. Don't be afraid to reach out to your rheumatologist for guidance. Hope you feel better very soon.
