I have been on both Plaquenil and Sulfasalazine since 2019 roughly, since diagnosis, started plaquenil first. I have continued elevated liver enzymes and elevated kidney function so she hesitates on starting anything new. They definitely help me.

I was on sulfasalazine,but my Dr took me off it about 6/7years ago it didn't really help me but I know it helps others

I have been taking sulfasalazine for about 18 mos. I think it works great - better than Humira. I also take Plaquinel and Ruxience infusions every 4-6 months.

I began taking this medication May 2023 but due to a side effect of blurred vision that came about the medication was stopped the month of July 2023.
