I actually dropped the amount of caffeine down from what was being had. I was drinking 4 cups a day for years then slowly decreased myself down to 12 or 24-ounces a day pending upon how I feel. There are some mornings when I get up then I will get a black tea with lemon as I don't feel like drinking coffee.
I would be a homicidal maniac without it.
It's bad news for everyone around me first thing in the morning if I don't have that cup of coffee. One cup. Strong coffee.
Then a mid-morning espresso, and that's it for the day for me.
I don't know what difference it would make to my RA symptoms, and I'm not interested in experimenting to find out. I know what makes me happy. ๐
I find it really helpful. I only drink one or 2 cups a day. Never late afternoon or evening as I cannot sleep then. Helps with the brain fog and getting me moving in the morning. A strong coffee helps relieve pain in my neck and back when I experience flares.
That's a truly honest and up front answer, Eve. Amen.
