Some people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) report experiencing mouth and/or nose sores. These sores aren't caused directly by RA but can be a side effect of medications used to treat the condition. For example:
- DMARDs: These can suppress the immune system, leading to sores in the nose and mouth

It could even be a vitamin B12 shortage I know that it happens to me
Methotrexate can cause mouth sores. Are you taking that medication by any chance? Prescription folic acid is *supposed* to help offset those side effects. Good luck. 🙂

Have had sensitive nostrl
