Yah - I’ve heard of others that have dealt with hair loss and methotrexate. Personally I would try it and at the same time look into the root causes of RA and start to work on those. It’s believed if work is done in these areas that you may not need as much medication or that your medication will work better. Heavy Metals (Have any Mercury removed and Root Canals. I had all of my Mercury removed)

I’m been off of Methotrexate for a year and am in remission.
Hi Nancy, I have hair loss that is annoying. Every time I wash or gently comb through my hair I clean up lots of fallen hairs. There is thinness in spots around my temples which i understand can be aging. My doctor suggested taking the dosage down to three tablets a week (7.5 mg) to see if it helps and it seems to help a little.
As for flares and aches, I still have them. At this stage, though, I am more concerned about joint damage so it has me wondering about the dosage and how to proceed.

Diet, stress, trauma and environmental toxins have real consequences on our bodies.
I was diagnosed last June and having to wait months to be seen by a rheumatologist was super stressful. Now that it’s been almost a year of getting the diagnosis, starting treatments in October 2023 and living life a little differently now, I want to explore other modalities… At the very least, consider them. If ya know, ya know, as they say.
