Yes, it is very common for the first couple days after for side effects like nausea, diarrhea, HA, fatigue and brain fog. But high dose folic acid taken 12 hours after the last dose (some people split the dose…me) to reduce severity. Since I have been on it, though, the swelling in my hands hands my feet my knees my body feels so much better and I have really good days. So if I’m in bed one day and relaxing for that day, it is worth it for me.
However, some people just cannot adjust to it. There are many medications and combinations and medication that may work. You need to find the one that works for you.
