I’m looking at getting bariatric surgery, but I’m concerned on how it’s gonna affect my RA. Any advice ?

I’ve had minimal invasive surgery before and had a problem with a flareups, but I’m also worried of the after effects of having surgery with RA. Anybody had this surgery before?

I had it in 2008. I did not tell my arthritis doctor I was having it. When he found out he about lost it. He told me I have limited myself what I can take. For example I cannot take antiflamatory medication. Losing the weight really did make me feel better and move better. I would talk to your arthritis doctor before doing anything
