My neck fused itself but I would say if yours hasn't yet, a physiotherapist might be able to help.

I've had my neck fused, have RA and horrible nausea, I use promethazine CREAM, you put a little on your wrist and it is amazing how quick it works with less side effects than a liquid or tablet version. Hope this helps

Thank you BecciB. Unfortunately I can't have much for pain as my body reacts severely. I tried injections but they did not work. I have managed pain for a very long time but as it as spread through body, areas have extreme pain. However I have had pain all my life as being an RH baby in /47 not many m eds to control a lot of prob babies had. But πŸ˜‚ always new challenges to conquer. Let me know how your surgery goes and relief you experience. πŸ™

My neck vertebrae are a mess and need to be fused. I'm 73 and the operation is intense. I have opted to take Gabapentin and it is helping. Maybe you should get a referral to pain management. Hope you can find some relief.

I have RA, but I also just had laminectomy and fusion C2 to T2 -- I thought it was my RA, but my Rheumatologist had an MRI done and it was more due to bone spurs, disc problems, osteoarthritis -- Pain gone now (had surgery Feb. 28, '24) muscles are going through a lot recovering from being cut, relearning what they are supposed to do as opposed to what they were doing because of the spurs, etc.
My big point is be open-minded other things can happen to your body even though you have RA and it may be not related to RA.
