Hi Lisa, if i remember right, it might take three or four infusions to start feeling the effects of Orencia but i have seen on here some felt relief right away. One thing i notice with all the different meds i been on that it will get Reid of my pain well it comes to my surprise is that it slows down RA and reduces the pain level but i have not had any meds that took away all pain, so it ends up too level and control. I hope you have an awesome day.
Do you remember how long it took to take effect! I will be doing the subcutaneous version after one IV dose but I've been on prednisone for most of the last 2 years with all the drug failures and I'm very anxious to stop it this time. I can't function or sleep without low dose prednisone because of the pain and I have to work.
Hi Lisa, Happy Birthday i hope you have an awesome day. Lisa i was on Orencia. i was on for around four year's i didn't have any real side affects you might have little things. I went off of that after four years it was losing effectiveness. after around 2 weeks and i was getting an infusion every month. I have been on many different meds i just started a new one now in fact i go next week for my third infusion. Good luck and when you start a new med always wright down all your feelings and changes to your body so you can show your doctor and he well have the info to help and understand you better. Good luck, have an awesome day.
