Yes, this experience is shared by others with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Some members of the myRAteam community have described feeling very hot internally, without their skin feeling hot to the touch. This sensation can occur suddenly and might last for a few minutes before subsiding. Night sweats and feeling excessively warm, even without a fever or high external temperatures, are also common experiences among those living with RA. This could be related to the body's inflammatory response or autonomic dysfunction, which affects the body's ability to regulate temperature.
