I wake up so sore! Hands, knees, ankles…. I can barely walk! I hobble out of bed to the livingroom to let my little dogs out. Then using walls, doors, ect., I get my coffee and go back to bed. It’s taking me up to 2 to 3 hours before I can walk somewhat normally and function. Does anyone else have this?

I used to be a morning person. Now since I retired and have gotten older, mornings are extremely difficult for me. I have to take pain meds and wait till they kick in, and then the Gabapentin. I often feel like I have the flu. Around late morning, I feel ok. After my meds in the afternoon, I feel great at night. I’m on Humira: injection biweekly. I often wonder how I’m going to make it through the winter. I play pickleball 4 times a week as well.
Try to take the meds at night before bed. Be careful playing. I had to give up top golf. Lol Im not a golfer for say but did like going out to hit. My down side of feeling/ having a good day. I think and try to do normal things that I use to do. WRONG!!! 🤦 after all these years still learning how to walk away from activities. 😞😞😞. Be careful n be safe
You can take RA med at night. It works better for me I can get up and go. But yes afternoon/evening they start to feel sore. THC also helps me
What meds do you take?? And have you try talking them before bed??
Pamela, I have thought seriously about changing Doctors. Unfortunately, there are very few in my area. I might research it again and see what I can do. Thank you for the hug and advise!
