Good morning Gregory,

Yes, prednisone makes my blood pressure increase. I have severe high blood pressure though. Generally, my blood pressure will decrease the day after I stop the medication. I've never taken prednisone long-term though.

Prednisone works well for inflammation. How long have you been taking this medication?

Yes, I'm on 2 blood pressure meds. It also raises blood sugar which I have to watch very closely because I'm a type 2 diabetic. My doctor had to add insulin to my other 2 meds to help keep my blood sugar stay stable.
