Anemia caused by RA flare ups....
Red Cross reported me to be anemic in their usual blood tests. Now I eat things for hemoglobin levels to increase. Iron deficiency is the most common cause of anemia. This week I have been eating seafood with high iron levels and some veg. Saturday morning I have to leave for the local bus station at 8:50am to get to the Red Cross blood/platelet donation center. $20 amazon credits are being given to donors this month.
I am anemic and have been for awhile. I finally was diagnosed through my blood test although I suspected it for awhile. I don't know where it cones from.😲

If you are on RA medication, it could be the medication causing the anemia. If you are on medication you could research the side effects. Good question for your Rheumatologist.
Have always had anemia,don't know if Ra.has anything to do with it or not. Had anemia as a child.
