Steroids help, but the side effects are awful for me. I wait as long as I can before I do an injection or take orally. But I do need them. I also get gel shots every 6 months in my knees. They help, as well.

Shoulders can be treated with cortisone shots.

Cortisone shots and Eufflexxa gel shots for the knee. Everything has stopped working so I'm taking motrin 800 3x a day for pain til total knee replacement surgery
