Has anyone done a stress test with the shot how did it effect you or not? I did mine today and it made me feel horrible and pain. I felt so bad they told me to go home and not return to work. Headache went away after 2 cups of coffee and two diet cokes.

Members shared their experiences with nuclear cardiac stress tests, describing common side effects including dizziness, nausea, severe headaches, shakiness, and increased pain that lasted from a few hours to over a day. Several members explained that the test uses a medication called adenosine to dilate blood vessels and mimic cardiac stress, and that nurses often recommend caffeine afterward to help reverse the effects and reduce headaches, though some members are unable to have caffeine. A recurring theme was the importance of communicating with medical staff during the test if symptoms become severe, with members offering reassurance that these reactions are normal for some people and expressing hope for positive test results.

Good evening Pamela! Yes ma'am, I have to have nuclear stress test every 2 yrs. I have congestive heart failure. Everytime, I get dizzy, nauseated and a very massive headache! I eat crackers(peanutbutter/cheese) and drink 2 cokes for the sugar. I feel ok about 1-2hrs later. I'm sorry you had same reaction! Just know that for some of us that is normal. I hope results come back ok for you sweetie!
Have a lovely evening my dear!
