I'd like you to observe my hand. Knuckles are inflamed and fingers distorted and both have DUPUYYTREN'S CONTRACTURE . I had surgery on right hand with no relief and of course it was a failed attempt and will not have the legt one done. Both hands the same. My knees are very swollen and hurt like hell. ON FIRE. Had a failed surgery on my back as well as a SPINAL CORD STIMULATOR installed 2 times 5 1/2 years apart. My feet are starting to disfigure. MEDS on: Hydroxychloriquine, PROLIA injection every 6 months, 2 different muscle relaxers (TIZANIDINE & METAXALONE) 10/325 mg OXYCODONE, IV INFUSIONS FOR THE FIBROMYALGIA, Gabapentin, depo-medrol injection, lumbar sympathetic block on both sides of my spine for knees. 2 knee replacements which didn't help 3 years apart.
I've done it all and all I can say is I'm a train wreck.

Do you have osteo or rheumatoid arthritis? If it’s RA then you should absolutely be prescribed medication to slow it down. Act quickly before more damage is done to your body, this is a mean disease and not to be ignored.

It's not too late. Can you see a rheumatologist? they specialize in arthritis and related conditions.

Take your prescribed meds! I have had RA for 36 years, and that has helped me the most. Try drugs (with the help of your doc) until you find the one(s) that work I think regular massage and mild exercise (don't stress your joints) help too. Good luck.
