Does anybody know anything about Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome or do you have the energy to look information up for me? I have it, and can't do it for myself. I also have severe RA (Stage 3).

Members rallied around someone seeking information about Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome while managing severe RA, with many sharing their own experiences of prolonged exhaustion after multiple COVID infections and questioning whether their fatigue stemmed from RA, long COVID, or thyroid issues. Several members offered practical advice, including getting thyroid levels checked (as hypothyroidism is common with RA and easily treatable), exploring dietary changes like keto or intermittent fasting, increasing vitamin D intake, and seeking care at specialized long COVID clinics that may offer targeted treatments. A recurring theme was the complex interplay between autoimmune conditions, viral infections, and environmental factors like diet and water quality, with members encouraging each other to advocate for proactive medical care and make sustainable lifestyle changes despite the overwhelming fatigue.

Did you have a viral infection Kimbow? Covid? Anyway found PVFS on PubMed. Causes fatigue, muscle aches, poor concentration, emotional lability(feelings all over the place), depression. TREATMENT: rest (short rests throughout the day). good nutrition, pain relief (Tylenol etc), prioritize sleep, pace yourself. good news: you will recover. Hope this helps!
