Good evening everyone. I have osteoarthritis in my knee along with ra. Do any of you do physical therapy? I’m thinking it can help me, but I want to know if it will be worth trying.

I did physical therapy and it caused me to have a flare. But my inflammation markers were still very high at that time so my RA wasn’t controlled. I was recently put on MTX and am feeling no pain for the first time in a year and a half. Hoping to be able to start exercising soon

I was doing physical therapy for awhile but ended up having to have knee replacements. I still try to ride my exercise bike daily when I am able.

Yes I have both and do physical therapy weekly. It does help but you have to do your part too.
