Hi all. I'm based in the UK and really pleased I've found this group!
I take methotrexate by one injection once a week on a Sunday night. My Mondays vary greatly.
I find that if I'm well hydrated, have a good diet (it's been bad recently), sleep well - especially on the night of the medication I like to get a long sleep, that I tend to feel better on the Monday. Remicade Infusion monthly, MTX injection weekly, other meds as well. Same problem with the MTX. RA doc gives me ZOFRAN tablets for nausea. I take one 4mg several hours before the injection, a second one severe hors after the injection and hat generally works. Sometimes I have to take a Zofran the next morning. Remember, these are mostly cancer therapy drugs and can be hard on your system.
Do you take other meds? I am taking methotrexate injection with no trouble. Maybe something else is to blame. Or, talk to your doc.
