Hello everyone, my Mom (78) has been taking Metoject injections for 10 months. Schedule is: MTX on Thursday, folic acid pills on Friday, and every Saturday she has huge nausea outbursts and/or fever (38 Celzius) and awful lower back pain. The pattern has been going on for the the last 3 months. How can I help her, please, the pain is unbearable...

She need a geratic massage,,, find a therapist who does senior massage swedish massage will help her lower back pain,, tylenol 800 mg also helps me, tumeric pills 2 x a day,,also helps, ginger tea,,, God bless you and her!!!

I couldn't tolerate Methotrexate. It was awful for me. Not all of us can take the same medicine. Have you talked to her doctor about this? There are other alternatives.
