I have only been on methotrexate injection for 6weeks and my joints are still very inflamed. I have had chemical gastris, ulcerative colitis and ischemic colitis so I cant take anti-inflammatory drugs because of this.Is there a injection that will help with inflammation? Note that I had lymphoma 30yrs ago and they wont give me biologics.
I get a DepoMedrol injection every 3-6 months for inflammation and flares. It really helps.
Biologics are the biggest advance in treatment. Could they reconsider a 30yr diagnosis?
I do get injections in my knees, fingers and feet.trying to get a back dr.to get diagnosis of my lower back.its been inflamed and I've never had this in my back.thanks for the info.
DepoMedrol is a steroid kind of like prednisone, but an injection of medication in the muscle lasts longer than a pill.
What is that? I have never heard of it before.
