You might have lichen plants which is another annoying autoimmune disorder that causes painful little sores on the tongue and mouth. Mine pop up during high stress times. My dentist prescribed Triamcinolone paste that works pretty well. Can cause the insides of your cheeks and gums to be white and lacey.
Methotrexate causes mouth sores. RA doctors recommended that I take folic acid to prevent this, but I still developed the sores. I discontinued the Methotrexate.
I'm not much help with the sores but I recently had some chest pain and tightness and felt short on breath. I ended up having an allergic reaction to a medication so if you have taken a new medication, that could be the reason or if you suffer from anxiety, that could also cause the chest pains. I hope you get some relief soon and your sores go away.
Your doctor my have to send you to a dermatologist. My has helped me with my issues with my skin. I'll keep you in my prayers 🙏. Love and hugs
Yes, she said she doesn't think it's RA related and I should call my physician instead..... which is very weird of her usually she more supportive and helps me find answers not turns me away.
