Members shared enthusiastic recommendations for shoes that help manage foot pain from rheumatoid arthritis, with top picks including Sketchers GoWalks for their memory foam and slip-on convenience, QC tennis shoes designed specifically for arthritic feet, ECCO soft sneakers paired with over-the-counter inserts, and Brooks with custom orthotics from a podiatrist. Several members mentioned Crocs for their cushioning (though noting limited arch support), Orthofeet for specialized diabetic and arthritic footwear, and UGGs for overall comfort despite the higher price tag. A recurring theme was the acknowledgment that quality shoes for chronic pain come with a significant cost, but the relief and mobility they provide make them a worthwhile investment in daily comfort and function.

I wear Brooks for over pronation with orthodics from pediatrist.

Women’s ECCO soft sneakers. I have lived in them since I started experience bursitis and synovitis in both feet caused by RA. I also wear over the counter shoe inserts. Could not survive without them!

QC tennis shoes. A lil expensive but so comfy on arthritis feet.

I swear by my Sketchers GoWalks. Super comfy, memory foam, and major bonus is that they are slip-ons, especially great for bad days with my hands, so there's no tying laces.
