I'm Not Much Of A Poster (one Who Posts). Thought I'd Say Hello. I Was On Humira For 18 Months But Found It Didn't Help Much.
Today I started Xeljanz. I'm a bit scared but, well here goes. Anyone else
My doc changed her mind and now I am trying rinvoq. Good luck with your med change. Winter has hit and my joints have not been this bad.
I would be interested in hearing how it goes for you. My doc is thinking of making the same change with me soon. I realize meds impact all of us differently but I appear to be of similar age ( 60), race, and took Humira before xeljanz.
)Humira doesn't seem to be working. Good luck and Happy Holidays!
I take depakote for my seizure disorder. I would probably have depression now if I was not on depakote.
i was on enbrel for what seemed like a lifetime. taking an injection once a week was wearing me thin....so i decided to ask my doctor permission to try humira. humira is taken every 2 weeks and it does not burn as enbrel. however, it did not work for me. i started getting a rash around my neck, ears and in my head.
thankfully, i am back on enbrel and the rash is starting to subside.
I have always taken methotrexate with my biologic. And folic acid and leucovorin.
RA sucks...and the depression associated with this disease makes it so unforgiving.
If A VACCINE Became Available To Make The RA Go Dormant, Would You Try It?
