that people over the age of 60 and/or have chronic health problems should try to stay home. They suggested that we refrain from going to church, shopping malls, movies and any place where there are alot of people. This is getting scary. What do you all think? Ideas?

Members expressed growing concern about CDC recommendations for older adults and those with chronic conditions to stay home during the early coronavirus pandemic, with many sharing their personal vulnerabilities including autoimmune diseases, lupus, and cystic fibrosis. Several members offered practical safety strategies like using hand sanitizer, wearing masks, avoiding crowded places, choosing credit cards over cash, stocking up on groceries, and rescheduling non-urgent appointments, while acknowledging that many still needed to work in retail or public-facing jobs. A recurring theme was the tension between taking the threat seriously while managing fear, with members sharing information from trusted sources like the Arthritis Foundation, expressing frustration that others weren't being cautious enough, and encouraging each other to stay safe, protect vulnerable loved ones, and maintain faith during an uncertain time.

The Arthritis Foundation has useful information on its website. Its called Corona virus and Arthritis if it doesn't pop up right away. I signed up for emails/research so I get alert emails about this and updated information. I trust them for what I should be doing about the Corona virus issue.

They are right, but a mask and sanitizer would help when you do have to go, I say 3 worst places are, Dr's office, Pharmacy, and grocery stores! Sick people go to Dr, then they go to pharmacy for antibiotics , then they go to grocery store for comfort foods before they go home and rest for several days

I am taking it serious .... I am just sad to see so many not... scariest thing is the fact that the droplets from 1 cough can live on a surface anywhere from 2 hours to 9 days

what I think is sad is that so many people are not taking this seriously, I understand that some of you have to work in retail and you cannot take off, hand sanitizer should be offered by owners of the company but your local community health care may have it, call before you go there. Also this is airborne so just washing your hands won't stop it and what some don't realize is that in 6-8 weeks now it has spread to every country in the world ....think about that, you need to be concerned... in a couple of days, confirmed cases in USA went from 600+ to 1200+ think about that!
