I take this combo along with Xeljanz and it is the best regimen I have been on.

I am on both of those drugs and have had no side effects...it's the only thing that has worked.

I took Plaquenil for several years when first diagnosed with no side effects that i could feel and then about three yrs into taking it I took myself off bc I still was flaring and pain as well as having to nap every day for 2-3 hrs. Off of the plaqeunil I did not have to nap as much at all however, flares doubled. nighttime pain was not as bad. My dr added the Leflunomide with the plaquenil but I have yet to go back on the Plaquenil much less add the Leflunomide....but I will let you know if I do. Sorry I can't be of more help. I take Humira with Leflunomide...might be another option to look into as well. Good luck!
