Members shared a wide variety of diets they've tried to manage rheumatoid arthritis symptoms, with the most commonly mentioned approaches being Paleo, Keto, Whole30, gluten-free, and the Wahls Protocol, along with eliminating common trigger foods like gluten, dairy, sugar, processed foods, and nightshades. Several members reported significant improvements in inflammation, pain levels, and weight loss, with one member describing their pain dropping from a 20 to a 5 through a gluten-free vegan diet combined with daily yoga, and another sharing dramatic before-and-after photos showing reduced bloating and inflammation after four weeks on Whole30. A recurring theme was the importance of eating whole, unprocessed foods, making meals from scratch to control ingredients, and giving the body time to adjust before reintroducing occasional treats, with many members emphasizing that finding the right diet requires personal experimentation and discipline.

I avoid processed foods. I get produce straight from the farm. I make all my food from scratch, I even make my own yogurt. This way I know exactly what is in the food I eat.

I avoid wheat, dairy, soy, corn, sugar cane in any form, msg, anything artificial--makes a huge difference! If I ate those things I'd be so bad I couldn't function.

I am gluten free/vegan I lost 20 in the first month not trying to. The only thing that really bothers me is the cold and when the weather changes to hot and humid very quickly here in Florida that gives me a flare up really bad. I have taken on yoga daily. I do restorative yoga two times a week my pain used to be a 20 now it's like a 5 it's manageable.

I eliminated, sugar, gluten, red meat, and dairy, eat mostly organic farmers market veggies, eggs and meat, it made a huge difference, after a few months you can cheat a little.
