Members discussed severe fatigue while taking Enbrel, with the overwhelming consensus being that fatigue is a complex mix of the disease itself, medications, and sometimes age, making it difficult to pinpoint one cause. Several members shared that it took longer than six weeks to feel the full benefits of Enbrel, and many recommended contacting a doctor to rule out other factors, while also suggesting practical strategies like vitamin B-12 supplements, listening to your body, and treating yourself kindly during difficult days. A recurring theme was the unpredictable nature of RA, where good days and bad days alternate without warning, and the importance of staying educated, advocating for yourself, and finding what works best for your individual situation.

Severe fatigue. Also I ended up in the hospital from using immune suppressing drugs n chemo. The last one was Enbrel.
When I got to the hospital they told me that taking the drugs for ra allowed my body to grow an infection called ASB POSITIVE AVIUM COMPLEX. IT is a mean virus and now I regret ever trying any of it.
I have had a pretty good experience with Aleve. It sounds crazy but we are fighting inflammation so it only makes sense to start with those types of things and then if it don't help there are alot of people talking about cbd's . Google it. It has alot of great results in starting it next month.
It has no thc so you won't get stoned but then again who do you know that has this desease ever says my energy levels are great.lol
Don't just look at one Dr's advice and read all kinds of different types of RA info. I mean mayo bros. John Hopkins. MSU.
Education is crucial because even the best Dr's don't recommend that you find something out of a pot dispensery. I don't use. Marijuana but I'm willing to try something that alot of people on this site use alot. And nobody that I have seen has said that I didn't help them.

I take vitamin B-12 for a little more energy. I hear that the B-12 injections r much more helpful.

I thought It took me longer than that to feel the benefits from Enbrel. But every one is different in their reactions to the medications.

The fatigue might be just a symptom of your RA. Or it could be a reaction to Enbrel. Contact your doctor tomorrow and leave a message about it, see what he/she had to say.

I understand what you are saying but I have taken anti- inflammatory medication for years and they worked for along time. I still take them but they don't work without a little help. I don't like what I am taking now because of the low energy level and other possibilities that may come with them. The CBD's sound like it would be worth trying but they aren't legal in South Dakoda so that's out for me. The only question I have does it slow down the progression of the RA? I hope the Aleve works a long time for you but my biggest hope is they find something better and safer or better yet a cure. I know you are doing your homework so don't rule out anything because everything works different for different people. That is one of the hardest things to understand about RA, there is no one thing that works.

I used to be Enbrel but I get severe fatigue from RA & Fibro. Just treat yourself kindly.
